CMP.No.20603/2022 in Rev.Appl.SR.No.63336/2015 S.S.SUNDAR, J., and N.MALA, J., [Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.,] The present petition is filed to condone the delay of 2388 days in representing the Review Application.

2.Since the delay is inordinate, this Court examined the matter on merits. It appears that the review application was filed pursuant to the direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP.No.26849/2004 dated 01.07.2015.

Thereafter, the review application was filed in time. It appears that the papers were returned for certain corrections on 10.09.2015. Unfortunately, for reasons which are given in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the papers could not be represented in time and the delay is unfortunate and due to the elevation of the learned counsel who was appearing for the petitioner earlier.

3.This Court is convinced that the delay is neither willful nor wanton but due to the stated circumstances.

4.Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, this petition is ordered and the delay of 2388 days is hereby condoned.
