Learned Counsel for the Respondent has brought to notice that in terms of Section 117-L of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998, the Petitioner has to apply and obtain licence from the Respondent for putting up the hoarding under Rule 320 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023. In view of the same, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to the Petitioner to resort to the aforesaid procedure and if it has any further grievance to work out its remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
