2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner u/s 23 of The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, dated 20.12.2023 after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the counter parties if any, after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
