This contempt petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.28605 of 2015 dated 27.11.2015, in and by which, this Court had directed the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.10 of 2014 and file a final report within a period of six months.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent/contemnor that, after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Namakkal in C.C.No.217 of 2020 and the matter is pending trial.
