The representation given by the petitioner herein is with regard to the property belonged to the public Trust called as "Para Rajasekara Maharaja Kattalai Madam". This trust was formed by the Tamils who migrated from Tamil Nadu to Jafna in Sri Lanka. It is stated that the Saivate Scholars like Sri Arumuga Navalar visited Chidambaram and established Mutts and Schools to propagate Saivate literature and Saiva Sithantha Philosophy. Arumuganavalar and may other philanthropic endowed properties for the stay of pilgrims coming from Sri Lanka. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ In the representation on 06.06.2019, the petitioner has sought a prayer on the second respondent namely the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Villupuram, to declare that

the properties mentioned hterein belong to "Para Rajasekara Maharaja Kattalai Madam". In the said representation the petitioner also prayed for other reliefs restraining transfer of patta and other entries in the public document from the name of "Para Rajasekara Maharaja Kattalai Madam" to any other name and also prevent further construction in the property of the mutt. It is seen that already one Nadarajan had filed O.A.No.04 of 2000 before the Joint Commissioner, Mayiladuthurai for protection of the mutt properties and also to appoint a fit person to manage the affairs of the mutt. The same is pending for consideration before the Joint Commissioner, Villupuram. Taking into consideration, the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2019 and in view of that already O.A.No.

4 of 2000 is pending on the file of the Joint Commissioner, who is the second respondent herein, this Courts directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2019, on or before 31.03.2020, after giving due notice and sufficient opportunities to all concerned.

With the above observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
