Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2024 to correct mistake happened during the resurvey in survey No.513/1 and 514/2 (Old S.F No.492B) at Chitharavuthanpalayam Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District, within time frame 1/6

For Petitioner : Mr.K.Sudhakar For Respondents : Mr.D.Ravichander Special Government Pleader Order Heard Mr.K.Sudhakar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2024 to correct the mistake happened during the resurvey in survey No.513/1 and 514/2 (Old S.F No. 492B) at Chitharavuthanpalayam Village, Dharapuram Taluk Tiruppur District within time frame

3. Mr.K.Sudhakar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased a property, measuring an extent of 1.14 acres vide a registered sale deed, bearing Document No.4165 of 1995 dated 03.11.1995; that in the said sale deed, the other lands in the resurvey 2/6

formed layout, except, the petitioner's property to an extent of 1.14 acre therefore, the petitioner approached the respondents in person, explaining the above mistake of area errata and submitted a detailed representation dated 11.11.2024, stating that during the resurvey, some of revenue records wrongly and erroneously mentioned the extent in the new survey No.513/1 and 514/2 at Chitharavuthanpalayam Village, Dharapuram Taluk Tiruppur District and sought to correct the mistake happened during the resurvey in survey No.513/1 and 514/2 (Old S.F No. 492B) at Chitharavuthanpalayam Village, Dharapuram Taluk Tiruppur District, since, the said representation evoked no response, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents would submit that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within the time frame as stipulated by this Court.

Considering the aforesaid submissions and the limited scope of the prayer, sought for by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioner either in the Writ Petition or in the representation, is of the view that, suffice it would be to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's Representation in a time bound manner.

6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 11.11.2024 and dispose of the same as early as possible, preferably, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Post the matter, under the caption, ''For Reporting Compliance on 14.10.2025''.
