This Criminal Original Petition is filed to recall the Non Bail Warrant issued against the petitioner by the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Egmore, Chennai.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that NBW is pending against this petitioner from 07.04.2021. NBW is pending against some other accused as well.

3.On perusal of the record, this Court finds that the case was registered in Crime No.1873 of 2000 and had been taken cognizance in C.C.No.8714 of 2002 and pending before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Egmore, Chennai. Therefore, this Court does not inclined to recall NBW ordered against the petitioner.

4.This Court directs the petitioner to approach the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Egmore with an appropriate petition for recalling of NBW. On such filing of the application, learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Egmore, Chennai, is directed to dispose of the petition on merits and in accordance with law on the same day. 5.Accordingly this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 05.12.2022 ep Index:Yes/No 2/4
