ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 15.07.2024 by measuring and demarcating the petitioner's land in extent 1.80 cents, Survey Nos.85/4, Vilambur Village, Cheyyur Taluk,

2. Mr.S.J.Mohamed Sathik, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. In view of the consent expressed by the Learned counsel appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the the petitioner herein is the absolute owner of the property measuring to an extent of 1.80 cents comprised in Survey Nos.85/4 at Vilambur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District, and he made an application dated 15.07.2024 2/4

before the respondents 2 and 3 seeking to measure and demarcate the aforeasid land of the petitioner. However, till date, no orders have been passed on the said representation. Hence, this Writ Petition.

Though many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's application dated 15.07.2024 and to consequently, measure and demarcate the aforesaid petitioner's land as expeditiously as possible.

5. The learned Governemnt Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petitioners application dated 15.07.2024 will be considered and the subject property will be measured and demarcated within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's application dated 15.07.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period N.SENTHILKUMAR,J.

Anu of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.

7. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
