O R D E R

Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus to direct the respondents to survey the petitioner's land bearing Survey No.21/1B admeasuring to an extent of 0.48 cents situated at Koosthanapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by considering the petitioner's application dated 18.05.2023.

3. The main grievance of the writ petitioner is that even though the petitioner has made an application before the first respondent on 18.05.2023 to survey his land, till date no action has been taken on the said application.

4. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing at 10.50 a.m., learned Additional Government Pleader requested this Court to passover the matter to ascertain the factual position as to whether this application dated 18.05.2023 filed by the petitioner was considered or not. Pg.Nos.2/4

5. Today, at 1.15 p.m. again, when the matter was taken up, Mr.M.Umapathi, Head Surveyor, Hosur Taluk Office, Krishnagiri District appeared in person and stated that the application dated 18.05.2023 of the writ petitioner has not been considered. He further stated that the said application will be considered as expeditiously as possible.

Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to consider the application dated 18.05.2023 filed by the writ petitioner, if it is otherwise in order, by conducting enquiry / following procedures in the manner known to law and pass appropriate orders on the said application on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
