PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., pleased to set aside the order dated 11.08.2023 in Crl.M.P.No.in Spl.SC.No.34 of 2021 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Thiruvarur.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking modification of the condition imposed while granting bail in Crl.M.P.No.276 of 2021 by the learned Sessions Judge / Fast Track Mahila Court, Tiruvarur by an order dated 17.05.2021, whereby, it had been directed that the petitioner should execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- and also produce two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the concerned Magistrate.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner may be released on execution of own bond. Further, he would submit that the trial in Special S.C.No.34 of 2021 had now progressed to a substantial extent and that only two more witnesses are to be examined.

3. In view of that particular fact, it would only be appropriate that instead of modifying the condition, a direction is given to the learned Sessions Judge / Fast Track Mahila Court, Tiruvarur to dispose of Special S.C.No.34 of 2021 which is in the stage of the completion of trial, on or before 31.01.2024.
