ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to give appropriate police protection in order to measure the land comprised in Survey No.906/64 situated at Thimiri Village, Arcot Taluk, Ranipet District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2022.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the order obtained by the petitioner in W.P.No.22692 of 2022, he gave a representation to the Taluk Surveyor, Ranipet for measuring the property situate at Survey No.906/64, Thimiri Village, Arcot Taluk, Ranipet District which is an undivided Hindu Joint family land belonging to this petitioner, his brothers and sister. While measuring the property, since the respondents 3 and 4 herein, who are the brother and brother's son of the petitioner, have objected and caused hindrance for the same, the Taluk Surveyor did not measure the said property. Hence the petitioner gave a representation to the 2nd respondent police for giving police protection to measure the above said 2/4
property.
3. The learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the representation given by the petitioner dated 15.11.2022 is under consideration and appropriate orders will be passed as early as possible.
4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
5. It is to be noted that in the above said writ petition filed by the petitioner, the private respondents 3 and 4 herein were not parties. Since the representation has already been given to the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.11.2022 and complete the enquiry after issuing notice to the respondents 3 and 4 and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/4
