Petition is filed to quash the C.C.No.192 of 2023 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Gobichettypalayam as against the petitioner.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that, the statement of witnesses under Section 161 of Cr.P.C shows that there is no direct witness against the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) in contra submitted that, there is confession statement of this accused as well as other accused. Further more, based on the confession, recovery of cash was made from this petitioner.

4. In the light of the above submissions, this Court finds no merits to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.192 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Gobichettipalayam. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
