The petitioner seek anticipatory bail in Crime No.27 of 2022 registered by the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 494, 498(A), 294(b) and 506(i) IPC.

2. It is stated by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that A2 and A3/Parents of the Petitioner herein had earlier granted anticipatory bail. He also stated that the Petitioner was not involved in any of the offences as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail to the Petitioner.

3. The specific case of the defacto complainant is that the Petitioner herein had deserted and married yet another lady. The Photographs in that regard also produced by the defacto complainant before this Court.

4. On the side of the Respondent, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) stated that the Petitioner had contracted the second 1/3

marriage even when the first marriage was subsisting. These facts will have to be examined and investigation will have to be done on these issues. It is also stated by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) that there is also a Domestic Violence case which is pending between the parties. But at any rate since the investigation has to be done regarding the facts mentioned in the complaint, at this stage, i am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioner herein.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
