Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus calling for the records relating to the Gazette Notification No.407 dated 14.12.2018 issued by the Commissioner of Municipal Administration, 4th respondent herein insofar as Tambaram Municipality is concerned and quash the same and direct the respondents to carry out the Delimitation Commission of territorial wards of Tambaram Municipalities strictly as per the provisions of Tamil Nadu Delimitation Commission Act, 2017. 2. The petitioner is challenging the delimitation, pursuant to the notification No.407 dated 14.12.2018.
3. It is submitted that after the delimitation, elections have been held. It is further submitted that now, the Tambaram Municipality has become a Corporation.
4. In the light of that, now nothing would survive and the issue would remain academic. Moreover, none appears for the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of.
