ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by P.B.BALAJI, J.) Heard the learned counsel for parties. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition as a Public Interest Litigation seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 5 to conduct a peace committee meeting between the people of Okkilipatti and nearby Villages and the 6th respondent, to permit the people to participate in the Purattasi Tamil month festival scheduled to be held in Sri Aadhi Narayana Perumal Temple, Okkilipatti, Rajapalayam Post, Tiruchencode Taluk, Namakkal District from 10.10.2024 to 17.10.2024. The petitioner has already given a representation dated 25.09.2024.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent/District Collector would submit that on 02.10.2024, the peace committee meeting has been held and the sixth respondent as well as the general public viz., the villagers, have given it in writing that they have no objection for the villagers to participate in the Purattasi Tamil month festival at Sri Aadhi Narayana Perumal Temple, Okillipatti.
4. Considering the subsequent development, we make it clear that the present order is nothing to do with the administrative rights of the temple and it is limited only to permitting the villagers to participate in the temple festival to be held between 10.10.2024 and 17.10.2024.
5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for parties especially the learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent stating that the sixth respondent has already assured in writing that there shall be no hindrance or objection to the local villagers coming to the temple to have blessings of Sri Aadhi Narayana Perumal, we deem it necessary that no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. However, we make it clear that respondents 4 and 5 shall ensure that there is no breach of peace during the Purattasi month festival period between 10.10.2024 to 17.10.2024 and we also make it clear that the villagers notwithstanding that they belong to any caste or creed shall be entitled to participate in the Purattasi Tamil month festival at Sri Aadhi
Narayana Perumal Temple, Okillipatti.
