ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2022 and provide police protection to survey the land in TS. No.81, Block No.33, M Block, Suramangalam Taluk, Salem.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is the lawful owner of the subject property in TS. No.81, Block No.33, M Block, Suramangalam Taluk, Salem and he is in possession and enjoyment of the same; the adjacent owner of a lodge is making unnecessary claim over the property of the petitioner and hence the petitioner had chosen to survey the property with the help of a Government Surveyor; since it was not allowed by the adjacent land owner, the petitioner had sent a representation to the third respondent seeking police protection to survey the properties in question; since the same was not considered, the present

petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that in this regard the Surveyor himself had given a representation seeking for police protection and the same is under consideration.

4. In view of the submission of the learned Government Advocate, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation given by the Surveyor and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed. 29.11.2022 bkn
