ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register the case on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.11.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint against his mother-in-law that she has spoilt his family life with his wife and children and that he is being threatened with dire consequences. Though the complaint has been given on 09.11.2022, so far no action has been taken on the complaint.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, current paper enquiry has been initiated in CSR No.533 of 2022 and the same was closed on 29.11.2022, by directing the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before the Family Court.

5. Since the respondent has stated that the enquiry has been completed and it has been closed only on 29.11.2022, it is appropriate for the respondent Police to furnish the copy of the closure report to the petitioner.

6. With the above observation, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
