rectify the measurement of petitioner's land in survey No.122/2 (Part) present S.No.122/2A, Manapakkam Village, Alandur Taluk, Chennai District as 18.40 cents (7.4 Ares) and also rectify the field map sketch in accordance with actual physical measurement of the land and the tile document viz. deed of settlement dated 07.07.2011 registered as document No. 5474 of 2011 in the office of the Joint Sub Registrar - I Chennai - South, executed by petitioner's mother and effect consequent corrections in revenue records and issue corrected patta and Field Map Sketch (FMP) to the petitioner, within a time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Authorities to act upon the representations dated 30.05.2022 and 15.10.2022 and rectify the measurement of petitioner's land in survey No.122/2 (Part) present S.No.122/2A, Manapakkam Village, Alandur Taluk, Chennai District, as 18.40 cents (7.4 Ares) and also rectify the field map sketch in accordance with actual physical measurement of the land and the tile document viz. deed of settlement dated 07.07.2011 registered as document No. 5474 of 2011 in the office of the Joint Sub Registrar - I 2/5
Chennai - South, executed by petitioner's mother and effect consequent corrections in revenue records and issue corrected patta and Field Map Sketch (FMP) to the petitioner, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the subject properties and he obtained patta in his favour, however, in the patta, the extent of the land was wrongly mentioned and hence, he made representation to the respondents seeking to rectify the same and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 30.05.2022 and 15.10.2022 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame. 4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the 3/5
petitioner's representations dated 30.05.2022 and 15.10.2022, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
