This Revision Petition has been filed against the order of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Ponneri, allowing the petition filed by the respondent herein u/s.142 (b) of the Negotiable Instruments Act, condoning the delay of 135 days in filing the complaint and consequent cognizance of the complaint in S.T.C.No.411 of 2019 for an offence u/s.138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for the Respondent.
3.It appears from the records that no stay has been granted in STC.No.411 of 2019 and trial has been commenced and it is in the stage of defence side evidence. After going through the impugned order, I do not find any irregularity or illegality.
4.Accordingly, this Revision Petition is dismissed with the direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Ponneri to complete the trial and pronounce the order as early as possible. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are 2/4
closed.
