Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to direct the 1st respondent to take further action on petitioner's complaint dated 28.07.2016 on the file of the 1st respondent.

ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to take further action on the petitioner's complaint dated 28.07.2016 on the file of the first respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

Today, when the petition came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that in respect of the complaint dated 28.07.2016 given by the petitioner, the first respondent has conducted an enquiry in reference C.No.G2-03-00072-2020 & C.No.07- ALGSC-2020 and after conducting enquiry, the same has been closed on 01.06.2020.

According to him, as of now, no such petition is pending on the file of the first respondent.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, this Court cannot pass any positive direction in favour of the petitioner. However, there shall be a direction to the the first respondent to furnish the aforesaid report to the petitioner, within a time frame.

5. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to furnish a copy of the closure report, dated 01.06.2020 to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations, the Criminal Original petition stands Closed.
