PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned final answer key released by the 1st 1/5
respondent on 26.09.2023 for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police in the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board 2023 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 1st respondent to provide additional marks to the petitioner in connection with Question Nos.30,108 and 111 in Question Type C for the post of Sub Inspector of Police in the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board 2023. COMMON ORDER In all these writ petitions, the petitioners, who are Departmental candidates and had participated in the recruitment process conducted by the first respondent for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police, have questioned certain answer keys furnished by the Respondent Board.
2. When objections were raised with regard to these questions, a new Expert Committee was formed and all the objections were referred to the Committee. In accordance with the opinion of the new Expert Committee, 0.5 marks each for three questions were awarded to the candidates and thus all the candidates herein became qualified for the next level of selection process of physical endurance test.
3. It is now submitted by learned Additional Advocate General that these petitioners have also qualified for the physical endurance test and they would be subjected to further viva voce process. If that be so, the grievance of the petitioners have been redressed and hence no further orders are required in the present writ petitions. 3/5
