Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's petition dated 31.10.2022 to remove and relocated transformer bearing survey number 122/11 and patta number 2254 for an extend of 1980 sq.ft sitated at Kangi Village and post, Kangi Road, Chengam Division, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage with the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3. The prayer in the writ petition reads as follows:- To direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's petition dated 31.10.2022 to remove 2/5

and re-locate the transformer bearing survey number 122/11 and patta number 2254 for an extend of 1980 sq.ft situated at Kangi Village and post, Kangi Road, Chengam Division, Tiruvannamalai District.

It is seen that the Assistant Electrical Engineer, Operation and Maintenance, Kangi Village had written to the petitioner on 31.03.2022 informing him that the transformer can be shifted if an un-objectionable location is found and the petitioner is willing to pay the expenditure involved. But, what is the exact proposed location and the estimated expenses have not been informed.

Therefore, the Assistant Electrical Engineer is required to inform the petitioner as to the proposed location of the Transformer as well as the cost, to enable the petitioner to pay and seek shifting. The communication shall be sent within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
