This Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd Respondent herein to provide police protection to the Petitioner for putting up a fence on his property.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondents 1 & 2. 3.Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the 4th Respondent encroached upon the property of the Petitioner to an extent of 600 sq. ft., and inspite of repeated reminders to vacate the encroached portion, the 4th Respondent refused to vacate the same. When the Petitioner attempted to fence 2/4

his property, the 4th Respondent resisted the same. Hence, the Petitioner submitted a representation dated 27.08.2024 to the 2nd Respondent police, since no action has been taken by the Police in the representation submitted by the Petitioner, the Petitioner is before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondents 1 & 2 and in the interest of justice, the Respondent/Police is directed to consider the representation submitted by the Petitioner on 27.08.2024 and dispose the same on merits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 09.10.2024 sai 3/4
