JUDGMENT

(Delivered by P.B.Balaji, J.) Heard Mr.T.Sundaravadanam, learned counsel for the appellant; Mr.D.B.R.Prabhu, learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent; and Mr.M.Habeeb Rahman, learned Government Advocate for the second respondent.

2. This writ appeal is directed against the order dated 10.9.2024 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.16847 of 2024.

3. Without going into the merits of the contentions of learned counsel for the appellant and the respondents, we dispose of the

appeal in the following terms:

(i) The respondent Corporation shall permit the appellant to remove the belongings allegedly kept inside the locked premises on 14.10.2024, 15.10.2024 and 16.10.2024 between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. (ii) The respondent Corporation shall lock and seal the premises on 16.10.2024 at 6.00 p.m. after the appellant removed the belongings.

(iii) This order is passed without prejudice to the tenancy rights and also the rights of the appellant to challenge the cancellation of trade licence in the manner known to law.

There shall be no order as to costs.
