PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings in Crime No.417 of 2015 dated 13.03.2015 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report registered in Crime No.417 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the Government Advocate [Criminal Side] submitted that further action in the above First Information Report has been dropped vide RCS No.14 of 2020 on 06.08.2020 and the same has been informed to the defacto complainant and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.

3. In view of the submissions of the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side], this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition has been closed.
