ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents 1 to 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner representations dated 22.11.2021 followed by the reminder representation dated 30.08.2022 and consequently direct the 3rd Respondent to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the land comprised in survey no. 49/B measuring an extent of about 0.02.0 hectres at No. 58 Viralpakkam vilage, Karumpakkam post , Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District in the light of the 4th respondent panchayat union resolution dated 17.12.2021.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the absolute possession and enjoyment of the property comprised in S.No.49/B measuring 2/6

an extent of about 0.02.0 Hectares at No.58, Viralpakkam Village, Karumpakkam Post, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. The petitioner has been residing in the above said property for more than 15 years and he is continuously paying the property tax up to date. Therefore, the petitioner has made representations on 22.11.2021 and 30.08.2022 to the first respondent for issuance of patta in respect of the above said subject property. However, the same was not considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court seeking an appropriate remedy.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Addl. Government Pleader for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner and pass appropriate order within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request made by the petitioner, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2021 and 30.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
