O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the FIR based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 31.10.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 30.10.2022 at 7.30 p.m, one Jayakumar had trespassed into the petitioner's land which is situated at Survey No.590/2B and 593/7, Abigiripattarai Village, Karapattu Post, Ambur Taluk, Tirupattur District and abused and threatened her by rashly driving the tractor in the manner which would hit against her; despite a complaint has been given, no fruitful action has been taken so far. 2/5

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.S.R No.661 of 2022 and the enquiry is pending.

5. Since the complaint has been given as early as on 30.10.2022, the respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that while enquiring the complaints, the guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and others [2014 (2) SCC (1)] should be followed.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
