When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioners as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. They also produced their Aadhaar card and Driving Licence respectively.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent.

3. A memo of compromise dated 07.11.2019 has been entered into between the petitioner and the second respondent herein. Both the parties are mutually and amicably resolved the disputes in terms of the said memo of compromise.

4. In view of the mutual and amicable settlement arrived at between the parties, it would be appropriate to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1254 of 2015 on the file of the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, which is also one of the terms of the said memo of compromise.

5. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, the proceedings in C.C.No.1254 of 2015 on the file of the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, stands quashed. The memo of compromise dated 07.11.2019 shall form part of the order. Connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
