ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Respondent to register the FIR on the complaint dated 02.07.2022.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had given a complaint against her husband and his family members on the allegation that she is being ill-treated by causing domestic violence and also demanded dowry; but so far no action has been taken on the complaint.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, current paper enquiry has been initiated in CSR No.211 of 2022 and the same is pending.
5. Since the complaint has been given on the ground of alleged domestic violence and dowry demand, I feel it is appropriate for the respondent to expedite the enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above observation, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
