O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue patta based on petitioner's representation dated 10.07.2023 on the file of the respondent, to the house plot in Ward B, Block.08, in Survey No.443/107 of Madhavaram Village, Thiruvallur District.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner meet out all the requirements, the respondent has not issued patta so far. Further he submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner. 3.Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.07.2023 and pass orders in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
