C O M M O N O R D E R These petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents 1 to 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner representations dated 22.11.2021 followed by the reminder representation dated 30.08.2022 and consequently direct the 3rd Respondent to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the land comprised in survey no. 49/B measuring an extent of about 0.02.0 hectres at No. 58 Viralpakkam vilage, Karumpakkam post , Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District in the light of the 4th respondent panchayat union resolution dated 17.12.2021.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that the petitioners are in possession and enjoyment of the properties. The petitioner has been residing in the subject properties for more than 15 years and they are continuously paying the property tax up to date. Therefore, the petitioners have made 2/4

representations on 22.11.2021 and 30.08.2022 to the first respondent for issuance of patta in respect of the subject properties. However, the same was not considered so far. Hence, the petitioners have filed these writ petitions before this Court seeking an appropriate remedy.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Addl. Government Pleader for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request made by the petitioners, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2021 and 30.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/4
