PRAYER in W.P.No.30486 of 2023: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned Order made in C.No.147/SAL/M2/2023 dated 15.10.2023 issued by the respondent and quash the same, consequently direct the respondent to grant permission to conduct the temple festival namely 75th year Purattasi tamil month 5th week Thiruvizha in Arulmigu Sridevi Boodevi Sameadha Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple, Kosapur Village, Chennai-60 from 20.10.2023 to 22.10.2023. PRAYER in W.P.No.30666 of 2023: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, Calling for the records of the 2nd respondent vide C.No.148/SAL/M2/2023 dated 15.10.
2023 and quash the same and consequential direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 13.10.2023 and to give permission and protection for the village cultural program to be held on 21.10.2023 and 22.10.2023 for the temple Sri Devi Boodhevi Sametha Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple festival in Kosappur village, Madhavaram Taluk, Thiruvallur District, Greater Chennai Corporation within the limit of the commissioner of Police, Avadi Commissioner Office and to pass appropriate orders within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

COMMON ORDER In continuation of the order passed by this Court on 20.10.2023, today, it is reported that Mr.C.D.Stalin who is the petitioner in W.P. No.30486 of 2023 herein has deposited Rs.1,00,000/- as a pre-condition and had conducted the deity procession of Sri Devi Boodhevi Sametha Sri Srinivas Perumal Thiruveethi Ula and Annadhanam.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the festival was conducted peacefully and no untoward incident took place.
3. In view of the above facts, the Commissioner of Police, Avadi, Chennai is directed to refund the Rs.1,00,000/- deposited as security for peaceful conduct of the above festival. Mr.C.D.Stalin/petitioner in W.P. No.30486 of 2023 shall be entitled to receive the said amount.
