The petitioner is A5 in Crime No.379 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a), 4(1-A) of TNP Act and Section 25(1-AA) of Arms Act. He has been in judicial custody from 14.09.2023.

2. It is stated that A1 and A2 were intercepted when they were driving a motorcycle with possession of 20 bottles of TASMAC liquor. They confessed that the petitioner herein, purchases revolvers at Uttar Pradesh and supplies it to the other accused. This fact has to be further investigated.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that A4 had been granted bail but the nature of allegation against the present petitioner is serious. At this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
