ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.17 of 2022 and file the final report within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.17 of 2022 on 19.07.2022, no final report has been filed till date.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above, the first respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
