Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to grant permission to conduct the cultural programme of Adal Padal on 07.12.2022 at 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm at "Sri Mariamman Temple Maha Kumbhabhishekam festival" West Street, Bhavani, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District by consider and pass orders on the representation dated 18.11.2022 made by the petitioner within the time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. This writ petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to grant permission to conduct the cultural programme of Adal Padal on 07.12.2022 at 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm at "Sri Mariamman Temple Maha Kumbhabhishekam festival" West Street, Bhavani, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District by consider and pass orders on the representation dated 18.11.2022 made by the petitioner.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Govt.Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 18.11.2022 for conducting the cultural programme of Adal Padal on 07.12.2022 in respect of "Sri Mariamman Temple Maha Kumbhabhishekam" was rejected on 21.11.2022 by the respondent police.
