Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to survey the lands comprised in Survey Nos. 1097/1 1097/2 1098 and 1105 situated at Madhavaram, Chennai and demarcate the boundaries thereon as prayed for in the petitioners representations to the 3rd and 4th respondent dated 17.05.2022 and 25.08.2022.

ORDER

The petitioner is a registered Company and the same is running at Survey Nos. 1097/1, 1097/2, 1098 and 1105 situated at Madhavaram, Chennai. The petitioner recently noticed some illegal encroachment on the petitioner's lands. Immediately thereafter, the petitioner approached the respondents 3 and 4 dated 17.05.2022 and 25.08.2022. to survey the land and demarcate the boundaries. However, the same was not considered so far and hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking an appropriate remedy.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a suitable direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2022 and 25.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. The learned Addl. Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2022 and 25.08.2022 will be considered and suitable orders will be passed on merits within the stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on records.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2022 and 25.08.2022 and take necessary steps to survey the land and demarcate the boundaries in respect of the above said properties within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
