This Sub application is filed seeking re-open of the contempt petition No.841 of 2023 which was closed, by an order of this Court dated 27.06.2023, alleging that the respondent has not complied with the order dated 27.06.2023. Paragraph-8 of the said order reads as under:

"Though the petitioner's representation which was directed to be considered vide order dated 26.08.2022, has been rejected vide proceedings dated 13.06.2023 of the first respondent, in view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General - VIII, as a special case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2008 taking into account Section 33 of Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of rights and full participation) Act, 1995, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court that, in terms of the above order, the respondent has re-considered the case of the petitioner and passed on order in Proceedings e/f/vz;/6871-E3-S1-2008. dated 03.11.2023 and a copy of the same is placed before this Court and also furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

3. In view of the same, the question of re-opening the contempt case does not arise and accordingly, the Sub Application is dismissed.
