ORDER

(1) Learned counsel for the petitioner sought time stating that the learned counsel was not able to contact the petitioner herein. (2) However, the learned Special Government Pleader has forwarded instructions received from the Block Development Officer, Panchayat Union at Panruti, wherein it had been stated that the petitioner had given an undertaking that he would withdraw the writ petition. It is further stated that the petitioner is now working as Secretary at Sorathur Panchayat Union.

(3) Learned Special Government Pleader also forwarded the request in writing by the petitioner herein. The petitioner had also stated that he would withdraw the writ petition. It is probably for that reason, that he has not contacted his counsel and not responded to the calls made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
