ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.P.Ganapathy, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.S.Kamalesh Kannan, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.Thilak Narayanan, learned counsel for the fourth respondent.

2. The petitioner is seeking directions to the respondent authorities to remove the encroachment to an extent of 34 sq.mtrs. in Survey No.689/22 in Katpadi, Tharapadavedu.

3. The learned Government Advocate has filed a status report of the second respondent, wherein it is stated that during Natham Settlement Scheme, the extent of 34 sq. mtrs. has been wrongly entered as Government Poramboke land (Sandhu Vazhi). The learned Government Advocate further stated that at present there is no encroachment on the said land.

In view of the above, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition and the same is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
