ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the entire records in pursuant to S.C.No.52 of 2016 pending on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvarur, Thiruvarur District and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the trial has already commenced and six witnesses have been examined and there are only two more witnesses to be examined.

4. Since predominant part of the trial is over, I feel it is appropriate to direct the petitioner to effectively participate in the trial and work out the defence.

5. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
