The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.182 of 2023 originally registered under Sections 294(b), 307, 323, 324, 506(ii) of IPC r/w Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Woman Harassment Act and subsequently, altered to Section 302 of IPC.
2.The case of the prosecution is that on 27.08.2023, in the night hours, the accused had joined together and committed grievous hurt on five ladies and on one person, who died.
3.It is seen that the daughter of the defacto complainant had married A4 and there was a family dispute between them. 4.It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that a counter complaint had also been given.
5.But in view of the gruesome nature of the injuries caused and also of the fact that one person died, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
