The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.07.2023, registered by the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and 307 of IPC, in Crime No.281 of 2023, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused trespassed into the house of the defacto complainant and A1 had demanded money from her. When she refused to give the money, all the three accused had strangulated the neck of the defacto complainant. 3.The learned counsel states that the petitioner has been in custody for substantial period of time.

4.But taking into consideration the nature of the offence and that threat would still be held over to the injured, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
