This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 & 3 not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the complaint given by Jayanthi and Saroja, there were two cases have been registered in Crime Nos.671 & 672 of2019 respectively. Subsequently, those cases have been closed. However, due to political pressure, once again the third respondent police is calling these petitioners, who are neighbours of Jayanthi and harassing them.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the complaint given by Saroja in Crime No.672 of 2019 has been closed on 17.06.2022.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this matter does not require any consideration.
