ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Respondent to register the petitioner's complaint, dated 21.11.2022.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had given a complaint against the accused viz., Venkatesan and Kalaiselvan on the allegation that he has given a sum of Rs.1 lakh to the accused on the assurance to secure a job for him; but as assured, the said persons have not secured any job to the petitioner; thereafter the accused had issued two cheques by way of repaying the amount, but the same was returned as insufficient fund; hence, the petitioner made a complaint on 21.11.2022; but so far no action has been taken on the complaint.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, current paper enquiry has been initiated in CSR No.589 of 2022 and the same is pending.
5. Since the complaint has been given as early as on 21.11.2022 and taking into account of the fact the cheque issued by the accused have been returned as insufficient fund, I feel it is appropriate for the 2nd respondent to
complete the enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above observation, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
