ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Neyveli to dispose the C.C.No.152 of 2017 pending trial.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that C.C.No.152 of 2017 is pending against one Pitchai @ Navaneethakrishnan from 2017. In this case, not even charges framed so far. Thus, this petition.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that sole accused has filed discharge petition in C.M.P.No.2761 of 2018 and it is pending. Therefore, there is a delay in disposal of this case.
4. Considering the fact that this petition is pending from 2017, learned Judge is directed to dispose the discharge petition preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. Depending upon the out come of the discharge petition, proceed further with the case and make all endeavours to dispose the case as expeditiously as possible. 2/4
