The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.09.2023 registered by the respondent Police for the offence under Sections 4(1)(aa), 4(1-A)ii of TNP Act, in Crime No.230 of 2023, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 70 litres of arrack.

3.It is stated by the learned Government Advocate that there are four previous cases of similar nature against the petitioner. 4.Further investigation will have to be done. 5.At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
