ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction for release of Toyota Fortuner car vide registration number TN 05 AJ 3046, which was sealed by the respondent, to the petitioner.

It is seen that the petitioner owns grey colour Toyota Fortuner car vide Registration number TN 05 AJ 3046 and decided to sale it. Therefore, the petitioner had left his car for sale at Sri Lakshmi Motors, No.5, Jawaharlal Nehru Street, T.Nagar, Chennai-17. However, the said premises was sealed as per the attachment order under Revenue Recovery Act. However, the car owned by the petitioner is no way connected with the recovery proceedings.

Therefore, the respondent is directed to release and hand over the grey colour Toyota Fortuner car vide Registration number TN 05 AJ 3046 which was sealed along with premises at No.5, Jawaharlal Nehru Street, T.nagar, Chennai-17 to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if not already released.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
