This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.384 of 2014 on the file of the learned District Munsiff Cum Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur.

2. It is seen that when the matter was listed on 14.02.2017 "For Admission", the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners took an adjournment and the matter was adjourned to 10.03.2017. Thereafter, for the past four years, the learned counsel has not taken any steps to list the matter. It shows that the petitioners have no interest to pursue the matter. Further it is pending for more than four years without even ordering notice. Now after the lapse of four years period, this petition cannot be considered and this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
