The challenge in the present criminal original petition is to the FIR No.1465 of 2017 on the file of the 1st respondent. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that pending the criminal original petition, the 1st respondent had filed chargesheet on 24.12.2018 before the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai.

3.As such, no effective orders can be passed in the present petition. Hence, this criminal original petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, if they are advised to do so. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
