ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2022 and to provide police protection to fence the Agricultural Land in S.No.51/2A with an extent of 25 cents and S.No.51/2B with an extent of 131/2 cents, S.No.51/10G in 10 cents, totalling an extent of 47 1/4 cents (20583 sq.ft) in Ward-Q, Block No.8, TS.No.8/13Salem city Municipality Corporation, within the jurisdiction of Sooramangalam.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has purchased the aforesaid property from one Asokan; the said Asokan has got some civil dispute with the third parties and had filed Civil Suits against them; the suits filed by the petitioner's predecessor in title had ended in his favour and only thereafter the petitioner had purchased the property; even

then the named third parties have started to cause trouble to the petitioner every now and then; in this regard the petitioner had given a representation dated 16.11.2022 to the third respondent; since the same was not considered, the present petition has been filed seeking police protection.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the representation given by the petitioner dated 16.11.2022 will be considered shortly.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed with a direction to the third respondent that he shall consider the representation made by the petitioner on 16.11.2022 and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
